The only known asteroid to worry about won't visit us until around 2035 or 2039.. I don't remember which, and I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment. Until then, who knows.

Oh Dang, I was going to do some serious beach detecting when the kids went back to school in September.
I'm always late and a few green coins short!

I'm living life to the fullest right now, and when my numbers up, I'm ready. I know that Russian asteroid that hit recently was a complete surprise for NASA and all the other experts too.

No matter what happens with this supposed event, I think this September will be a month that none of us will easily forget

Is this because the Browns will be 4 - 0 in September?

Last fall the wife and I were laying out on the deck looking at the stars, I had dozed off and she woke me and asked " is that a helicopter search light coming towards us? I looked at it a few seconds before putting on my glasses, I could make out the red hot center with yellow flames around it. It came out if the SSW and burned for several seconds, it was HUGE! As it went over the deck it went out but we could still make out the red hot image traveling NNE, my guess was that it skipped off the atmosphere. We were at home in Galveston. HH dm

If true, Gov't wouldn't confirm until last minute to avoid global panic and breakdown of society. Jade Helm?

We will know, when the elite start heading to the bunkers in Iron mountain.
I will live life as I always do, I will make sure I tell family and friends I love them, put my faith and future in Gods hands.

(Auto correct had actually inserted "MD'ing" in front of the word "Future" in the last sentence, so it read "....,put my faith and MD'ing future in Gods hands." Lol! Now is that a message or what?

I know a few preppers who are reviewing their inventory right now. Meanwhile I'll just continue to wait for the next hurricane to enter the Gulf. Why do stock market downturns, trade center attacks and the like always seem to happen in September?

It's also the month of the last Blood Moon.........sure is a lot to consider.
Like MsBeepBeep said......It's all in His hands.
I'm one day closer to the end (or the Beginning) than I was yesterday.
I sure would like to find some nuggets before then though..........just for the experience.

Coz I am down under and this thing misses us completely, I am advocating that all concerned wealthy US residents send me their Gold, Silver and high priced metal detectors for "safe keeping" till its all over.
Should be far enough away here for any burst impulse to not fry the sensitive electronics, or melt your precious metals.
Just look me up when its over and anyone survives we will repatriate your wealth to you or your surviving heirs!. :laughing7:
You can trust me, I am from the government and I am here to help you! LOL
The immortal words (Of Jethro Clampett) spring to mind........

Duck Yer Head, Granny! :notworthy:

NASA website says it's not true, but of course not everyone believes the government.
