Another day at the incinerator creek. Most everything today was in bad shape. The dimes are melted and the wheats are toast. Got a couple of religious items. A ten commandments pendant or key chain and a silver Jesus minus his cross. The linked rings were cool. Too bad they aren't real. The melted gold tested 10k and 14k. I got a loupe to check out the small piece of gold and amazingly it had the 14k stamp still legible. The token is a Fort Worth transit token from the 40's and the large coin in the center is a 10 centavos.

We also went on the 4th but I didn't get around to posting it. I'll piggy back it here. It was more of the usual plus melted gold, buffalo nickel, tokens and a signal corp emblem.

I can't remember who originally came up with that nickname for this creek but a lot of the guys that have hunted here for years never knew its real name. LOL. If you didn't call it "Incinerator Creek" they would have no clue where you were talking about.

Interesting finds, cool name for the spot!
