CRHing in Nevada *RENO, Fallon, Elko

I will be going to Nevada next month for fire training in Elko. I will also be in Fallon and Reno. Anyone been there lately? Any casino's still use halves. I figure I can buy at casino's and banks and dump at casino's. Let me know. I will be looking for a machine like this below

I have no idea where you can still find half dollar slots, but that's a really neat machine.

They have half dollar machines here at the Indian casino but they only take bills and give out tickets.

It has been a while but I think the Harrah's in Reno has $.50 slots. I also know that the Boomtown casino has slots that take coins.

I think not. Unfortunately Virginia City is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. IE, no detecting. My bro and I were up therm last November. I wanted to pull the Yeller Feller out of the trunk but common sense prevailed.

My daughter lives in Fallon. She has some old mines scoped out not far form where she lives. She sent a picture of her standing by an old cabin. At least one full day of MDing is on the books.

A friend and I were in Beatty about 12 years ago and tried the same thing and got shooed off a prime old site, just as he got a quarter hit from about eight inches down. We thought if we got there early in the AM we could sneak on for some quick hunting. No luck. Someone followed us and nicely told us to am-scray.
