OK, my Critter Friends.
Contest time.

You remember that special Silver Certificate that I mentioned awhile back?

Well, it's time for the question.

Clint Eastwood is known for his gritty portrayals of a hard-boiled cop in the "Dirty Harry" films.

Before then, he was cast as the "Stranger With No Name" in westerns.

In one of the western films, a name was attributed to him.

For the prize,
Name the film and the name attributed to him.

"Dying ain't much of a living, Boy."

The winner will provide the first correct response.

Good luck to all!

Best,

Scott

Close, but no cigar.
Do not let the quote throw you.
It is a MacGuffin, for those who understand films and terminology.
Perfected by Sir Alfred Hitchcock....

I've studied film in several College courses........
Yes, I received "A's" in all courses.....

What I seek, to give the prize is:

A western a few years before that....
Remember the phrase, "The Stranger with no name...."

That only leaves Red Hardigan in a Maverick episode ,Duel at Sundown...?

No, Sir.

Y'all are missing a Clint flick.
Don't make me give additional clues.
That would cheapen the prize....
I told Y'all that Google wouldn't help, didn't I?

"The genre of 'The Unknown Protagonist' is well known in the many Clint Eastwood movies,
Where an 'unknown rider' appears in time to save the day."©Scott

And, NO MORE CLUES!

If there are no winners, I'll put the prize back into my safe and no one will win. Dig?

Oh boy.. I'm gettin' wound up and won't have a drink.... the first of many... for a few hours!

cask 001.JPG

This was from a while ago, so... imagine same pic, but different of course with a full bottle of cask strength Maker's Mark! And a different beer, haven't decided yet, and a different knife as I'm not sure why there is a knife in a bourbon pic.. and a different "screen shot" on my monitor..

And, here it is again,
SUSHI SUNDAY!

A fine compilation of crab, avocado and cream cheese.

A sushi one would seek...

Mixing up the Wasabi now, and pouring soy sauce...

How does one better enjoy the day?

Perhaps with a song?
