Just pulled about 30 more pieces of currency from my collection for the ebay rounds,
(rent's comin' up, don't cha know?)
took pictures, front and back and wrote info on slips of paper.
Now, I have to crop, lighten and get the color just right on the photos.
I use Picasa, by the way...

Then use Turbo Lister to get them set up for uploading.
Dang. That's almost too much work!

Looks like I'm gonna herd some leaves this weekend, too.

I might go to this tomorrow and see if I can help out.
Veterans 'help fair' set for Sat. in Gainesville | AccessNorthGa

And I'm making plans to head to the mountains next week about Wednesday through Sunday.
4 nights, 4 different camp sites.

:hello2:

I think that I already know which campsite I will spend Thanksgiving. :coffee2:

For some reason, this song has been going through my head all day...

Best,

Scott

PS. My locksmith Friend and I got into a discussion today
and I had to clarify the difference between "Demented" and "Deranged."

The nerve.
Calling me demented!

A lot of the time, I try to be witty,
funny, thought provoking and, well,
sometimes I push the envelope.

I mean no harm and,
well,
Here...this is what I mean.

If you remember Red's closing,
then you're at least as old as me.

If not,
Get the he** off my lawn! :laughing7:

My Best Wishes,

Remember when I related my fears of having to repay my Pell Grant and Scholarships
because I had withdrawn from my classes this semester?

I have been checking my College email every day to know if I have to pay
and how much and start saving, but nothing.
Until today.

New variable a-runnin'.

Not from my College email, but from the USPS.

1-IMG_1004.JPG

I smell a "snafu" trap....

Should I accept this payment from who knows why or just tuck it away and wait, or,
(my choice)
find out why I'm getting more money for withdrawing?

If I gotta deal with the College again before this Spring's Classes start,
I'm gonna get my Student Webpage re-established.

Seems all Student Webpages were removed when the Universities merged this year.

I'm pretty upset that my Webpage was cast to the wind and will cause a stink if necessary to have it be restored.
Y'all know how hard I've worked on it, even long after the class requiring it ended.

What are your opinions?

Best,

Scott

Hmmmmmm... manna from heaven?

If it is unexpected, check the void date on it :( A shame we have to do that, but times now are meant to be more careful than before.

A little "checking" might be the better case....

Good luck on this!

"And, I guess that was funny..."

"Now, here's that really big group that all the kids are talking about,
Maurice Williams!"

(Disclaimer: Maurice and the Zodiacs never appeared on "The Ed Sullivan Show" to my knowledge.
But, let's all just imagine that they did...)

Best,

Scott

By far, my favorite version is by Jackson Browne....
Even a bit more than Franki's version....

For my Friend, Pippin.

And for those curious about my boiled peanuts.....

I made a big batch of 3-alarm, using the habeneros, chipotle and jalepeno peppers.

WOW! HOH!

Then I took half of the batch and dehydrated them overnight in my dehydrator.
They were even hotter by then but still a bit soft.

Then I slow baked the "soft" batch until crunchy again.

Kids,
They is so hot and good, I'll provide the beer to go with 'em!

Come an' get cha a fistful!

Better Hurry!

Best,

Scott

I would send everyone a sample, but I can't afford it.

I'll send a fine amount of my "peanut cooking" to all who will help with postage.
No beer included.

I'd guess that a buck or two will have you screaming in joy of the heat you taste!

I am cooking up another batch, so don't be shy.

Tell ya what.
First reply gets all cost paid.

Just found this list of Rock n Roll entertainers appearing in 1960.
I was fortunate enough to see many of these performers at the Apollo in NYC and in Vegas.
I'm hesitant to guess where many are today:
Daily Events - 1960
Those were the days........as Archie and Edith would say.

Seen an article somewhere a guys family farm grows peanuts. He runs his truck off the pressed oil,(must be biodiesal sp.?) and feeds livestock the residual cakes from the pressing.
