for goodness sakes Man you live in freakin CANADA!! Here's a clue, you EVER seen a palm tree up there? Didn't think so.

8-) I'm usually hanging out with my Commie friends in Cuba when I see palm trees... :laughing7:

Jeff, I have been pondering my situation since my last Post and have decided that It's time to put a new layer of Brass on "the boys" so to speak.

I will go forth into the valley of frozen waste, I shall fear nothing! Extra chain, rope, sand, ammo :laughing7: and gear (not to mention the Cubano Cigars and the IPA) will be on this journey as I must reach my sanity.

I will meet both of my chums (both are from the US) with open arms and we together will reach forward through the wild onto the Cabin.

I will never be defeated in mind and soul, never will I taste that.... NEVER :headbang:

I'll bring the camera and feel that there will be the smell of fresh fish cooking soon in the Northern air...

Had a Geology Lecture test this morning.
On a dang "scantron."
scantron.png
Ya either know the answers or you don't.
Guess I don't.....

Tuesday is a Geology Lab test and a math course test dealing with linear equations,
plotting slopes, quadratic equations and finding solution sets.....

I'm SO screwed this semester that I'm beginning to not care anymore about Honors;
I just want to pass, take two more classes and graduate.
Folks, I feel like I'm runnin' out of gas on the last lap.....

Some days you are the dog.
Other days, the fire hydrant.
dog.png

Seems like some days just aren't worth getting out of bed.
--------------------------------------

After classes, I stopped by to see my Friends at Disability Resources to catch up on repairs.

Sonja requested my attendance at the next Board of Directors Meeting scheduled on May 13th.

I'm not sure why.....:icon_scratch:

IMG_1261.JPG

-----------------------------------------------------------

Right now,
I'm trying to think of some music that exemplifies my state of mind and/or something to raise my disposition.....???

I know tomorrow will provide that:
Either problems will resolve themselves or I'll
have a fresh perspective to ferret out and apply my own solutions.

Tomorrow....

Seems like we've had this discussion....

Now, it applies to me.
"Never give advice that you yourself do not believe in."

This immediately comes to mind.....

---------------------------------------------

Hope All are Well,
Have a Great weekend,

AND

The Best Tomorrow of your Life!

Always,

Scott

Sorry for the previous "downer" post....

casey2.jpg

"And this from our mailbag;
'Casey, life and college have seemed lately to become a burden.
I'm from Kansas and I need to hear some inspiring music. Can you help an old man? Signed, Scott'"

"Well, Scott, the answer is right in front of you. All you have to do is to see. 'None so blind as they who won't see.'
You're from Kansas. See what your youth has taught you, where you are now and where you want to be.
In other words, Scott, 'Carry on' and 'Keep Reaching For The Stars!'"

"Well done, my Friend
Your success will be that which is mentioned frequently....."

Best,

Scott

ADDED:
"Kansas" is from Topeka.
I grew up in Lawrence, 15-20 miles away.
The first time I saw this band live was at the "Free State Opera House," a small venue,
once a theater, on Massachusetts Street.
This was right about the time "Carry On My Wayward Son" was released back in about 1976 or 1977.

OMG!!!
What are you suggesting?

OK, let's think about this.....

I'm guessing that there was no "spell check" available here, right?

Even so, it would have still passed through.....

Good eye, Pat my Friend!

This is for you!

1989.
Helsinki.....

My Best Wishes,

Scott

It has just occurred(re-occurred) to me that the methods of communication and the linguistics involved convey the inner thoughts of individuals.

Some may convey a basic means of communication and possible (hopeful) acceptance of others.

Some may convey the aura of supremacy and expect sub domination.

Well,

To hell with all that!

I'm keen on the words that others speak.
Language is so important to human development.
Interpreting the choice of verbiage, inflections, and, well....

Regional dialect, idioms of locale, and etymology has always held fascination with me.....

My apologies for yet another digression....

Scott

I'm pretty sure of my goals, passions, desires, limitations, and potential.

I have only the memory of my Parents and family (Whar?)

I do this college business thing to be able to provide proof of academic knowledge to help my fellow Veterans.

Whether we talk in a clinical office or under a bridge, where I frequently found my Father,
I'm sure that we have much in common. Let's talk about it, OK?

Too much openness?

I kinda got stuck on those thoughts today, after having (yet another) negative exchange with a neighbor, that have been leaving me the last few yrs with thoughts of, "wth kinda poophole is this mguyf?" and "what did I ever do to HIM(make him think he can talk to me like....)"?

Trying not to let them birds build that nest! :laughing7:
Where's that "let it go" song! LOL!
blow it in balloon, release, lather, rinse, repeat....... :laughing7:

And the realization....... yep, actually says more about them........
Ain't nothing wrong with me! :laughing7:
C'est le vie......

(good way to not be a stumbling block to ya neighbor, ya bunch of gossipy little girls) I don't think we have an emoticon for THAT ONE! LOL!

Even cats have their moments, too :cat: :laughing7:

Pat,
My Friend,
There are only 3 reactions that one can take to a situation.

#1) Put up with it.
#2)Change it.
#3) Leave it.

The secret is in knowing which to consider......

Your Friend,

Scott

PS. Perhaps "leave it" for a minute?

You know,
If I give up on my academics,
I give up on myself.

Deep!

This weekend,
I have yard work to complete,
and test studyin'.

Don't know 'bout y'all,
but I really (never) don't give up....

Carpe Diem!

Best,

Scott
