Barb,
Look.....

I've had to shoot skunks, trying to take over,
with a pump 12 gauge....
I did not enjoy the chore....
But, after Carol's dog was sprayed 3 times in one week,

I had to make a stand.....

I Won.

If I throw 2-3 mothballs in a hole, the smell alone will detract further advance.

Do you study animal psychology?
Perhaps physiology.....
Huh?

And you're gonna tell me that these or any critters are gonna eat a mothball?

PLEASE!

Get ahold of yourself, Girl!

Animals are smarter than humans!

My Best,
Barb,

Scott

So,

We ALL need some good grillin' recipes from you guys!

OK.

Here's the ultimate question.....

Gas or charcoal?

Take it away,
My Friends....

I've got a Kabob recipe for on charcoal.....

If anyone is interested....

RECIPES!
(especially campfire......)

Charcoal! Take ashes, mix with wet (used) coffee grounds to put on flowers/veggies... BETTER than Miracle Grow!

Chipmunks. Never caught them messing with a tomato plant, but hey, maybe their special plants.:laughing7:
Prime suspects here would be voles. Under cover of darkness. Those brown grass narrow ribbons on lawn after a winters snow melts are vole paths. Not going to see alot of that in Ga. though, sorry.Clean hole entrances opposed to when fresh a shallow pile from chipmunks usually.

RC,
I've dealt previously with moles, voles and ex-wives.

I sincerely thank you for responding,

But,

Ex-wives ended up in me being shot.....

Scott

Funny story from my younger days... my dad shot & killed a pole cat under our house (Crawl Space); he tried to get our hound dog (Beagle) to fetch dead pole kitty. Hound Dog just looked up at him, as if to say... "Are you insane...? I'm not going in there!" Dead pole kitty "spray" stunk up our WHOLE house; I got sick smelling that "spray" over-night (thank g*d, it was the weekend!). Dad must have removed it, and said nothing; hound dog PROBABLY got a "beating"...

"Rut-Row...."

Barb is making a VERY strong claim.....
About the topics that I mentioned,
Which were animal psychology and physiology.

Well,
Miss Elly,

May it please you to learn that I'm writing an article for Ornithology,
Concerning the pitch of same species bird,
"City" vis-a vis "Rural?"
Yes.
My travels and adventures into the mountains have shown me many differences in Nature....

I have a Vintage "Audobon" bird caller.
I've had it for 40 years.

I've learned the bird's songs.

It's much different in my mountains than in the city......,
Same species.....

In the city.....

(A little over a year ago in Washington.)
Joe Walsh inspired me to learn how to play a guitar,
WAY BACK WHEN?
Though I'm left-handed.

I taught myself to play right-handed.

Always my Best Wishes,

Barb,

Scott

For my Friend, RC.
"Do you speak my Language?"

"He just smiled and gave me a 'Vegemite sandwich.'"

"Down Under"

Travelling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said:

"Do you come from a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover."

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich
And he said:

"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover."

Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me?
Because I come from the land of plenty."
And he said:

"Oh! Do you come from a land down under (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover."

"Now,
As someone had previously mentioned automotive ignition side-bars,
l might tempt you towards a Ford Focus ignition?
Total breakdown?
Should I be charging for this info?"

It's about time that I start the narrative of my camping trip after the semester ended....

What shall the title be?

As I sort pictures,
(AND Video Clips!)
prior to composing the tale,
of my "Camping" thread,
this weekend,
I'll be listening to this....

Hope that y'all enjoy it, too!

Best Wishes,

Scott
