The second album I owned, after saving up for stereo equipment, playing with resistors, capacitors and such....

Remember, I'm a "Radio (Vacuum)Tube Generation Kid."

{Got a tube instrument amplifier? Might be some big bucks there, Friends....}

No such monkey business about interwebs and all back then.....

Hell, I'm talkin' 3 channels of black and white TV, Dig?!?
Learning how to perfect wiring of many speakers on left and right,
(then later, playing with "quadrophenia"),
I was pleased to have a stereo system that could piss off my Mom from over half a block away! :headbang:

Then, I learned how to pick locks.
My Sister's Diary lock.

To get dirt; and extort.....
Yeah, money changed hands....

AHEM!

I mean....
NEGOTIATE an album to my collection....

Huh?

Oh, Yeah, Sorry, I digress at times....

The First album of Sibling "negotiations..."

Best,

Scott

ADDED:
Not too long ago, I gave back all of the albums I had "obtained" from her in the past, having played them, cared for them and cherished them....Sniffle...

Best enjoyed through old school speakers, with 12 inch woofers and silk dome tweeters...:icon_thumleft::icon_thumright:

Best Speakers I ever had was a pair of Bose 501's.
Second best was a pair of Teledyne Acoustic Research AR 15's.

ar15 speakers.jpg

Bought at the post PX in Germany and lost to a burglary a few year later.

Ar$ehole stole the speakers, the receiver, the equalizer, the turntable,
and even the album on the turntable that I had played that morning....
For this song.....

(Sweet Gibson, Mother of Mary! Check the Humbuckers! Once had a Gibson with dual Hums.... Lost it to the broker in the last "world war" known as divorce. Why are divorces so expensive?
'CAUSE THEY'RE WORTH IT!....)

I FREAKIN' HATE THIEVES!

Don't ask how I deal with them when I catch them.....
Something about the statutes of limitations....:icon_scratch:

"Yeah, I'm no expert. Are you?"

leslie.jpg
"Of course I'm an expert! What was the question?"

Don't flash me, Bro!.jpg

DAMMIT!
Again?

"I'm tellin' you, K,
That flashin' crap gotta stop....
You be fryin' peoples's brains,
and you don't wanna be responsible...Feel me?
Zed, He's an idiot....

K?
Gotta trust me here, man....
K?...
I know that's you, man...."

You listening here, you pre-neandrathal idiot, Scott?

Certainly creativity would flow if you should ever catch up with me, my Friend.

In the meantime,
I raise my glass to you!
Tonight my glass is Mateus Rose.
Somewhat difficult to acquire....

To your Health! Prost!

Made keys for a bank repo car today.
Made the keys and discovered a trunk full of sockets and wrenches.

I offered bank dude $20 bucks for it all.
He pocketed the Jackson and said, "Have at it."

And I did! 8-)

Bizarre switch today. While shoveling and plowing snow... it is raining before freezing and snow returns.
Shadows,,,whoa-ohh.:hello:

Shadows in the Rain
The Police
Woke up in my clothes again this morning
Don't know exactly where I am
When I should heed my doctor's warning
He does the best with me he can
He claims I suffer from delusions
Yet I'm so confident I'm sane
It can't be an optical illusion
So how can you explain
Shadows in the rain
And if you see us on the corner
And we're dancing in the rain
I join my friends there when I see them
Outside my window pane
Shadows in the rain
Shadows in the rain
Shadows in the rain

Woke up in my clothes again this morning

My Dad had at least 2-3 thousand records years ago. Music from all over the world, 78's, wind up phonographs....he bought and sold them also.... I was taught classical guitar, in the style of Andrés Segovia. I picked it up fast...but. When I heard Hendrix, Sabbath, Yardbirds for the first time...I said
Ohhhh Yehhhhh!! That's what guitars are for!!!:headbang:
I started down the rebellious road.:laughing7: Hey when I first heard Yngwie Malmsteen's Neoclassical style, I was a leg up! Then I got into the blues. My Dad had a lot of early blues records so I "unrebelled" a bit.

The first time I saw "crossroads" I gave Ralph Machio the finger and stated loudly...Classically trained playing the blues!! That's my bag... you....:laughing7:

I have a few 45's and that's it for vinyl. I do have a bang & Olufsen turntable.
Will I invest in vinyl? No. Costs to much.

OV,

Frank Marino of Mahogany Rush would be right up your alley.

Regards + HH

Bill

I don't know much about Mahogany Rush, I will investigate. Thanks! Got any more?
I have a few thousand albums, CD and then on Itunes....but this thread, you guys turn me on to MORE music!
My computer is plugged in to my stereo...Itunes and CD's sound great. 10 band EQ helps. I notice music on you tube lacks in quality.

Scott (aka AU24K) That bacon I gave you tonight was from Tender Belly and is some good stuff. Check them out.

Tender Belly | Bacon, it's good for ya!

They willing to sponsor a car for ya?
I solicit sponsors when buying non racing supplies.
Worst they can do is say no...and they do.
Offer them a big sticker on the boat for example , in exchange for a new boat.
No takers yet. Hard to even get a hat out of the deal , even when handing over money. l.o.l..
Scored a couple hats though. Ooo-whee!
