Just heard and was a part of this good news!

Uncle Bill's Charter Status is in the works! :headbang:

Thanks to all who have PM'ed me so far.

We might have Jeff on the ranks soon.
However,

His proclivity towards the demon weakness of "Politics" have some worried.....

OV,

It's to bad that Clarence Clemons is no longer with us...he did a great job working with Bruce Springsteen.

Regards + HH

Bill

Sure call him up!
Or Rindy Ross, Oregon girl...she can sing and is also a great sax player.

I'm gonna go off topic, which I never do....
You said good brass is hard to find...sitting in front of me I have guitar picks made out of cymbals!!
I don't think they are made anymore... The top pick is very old, it is tortoise shell...not faux but the real deal.
The grooves in it are from my high school days sliding it down the strings!

As I have said, enjoy Treasurenet.

I found Treasurenet nearly 10 years ago seeking info about a coin that I still have.
(Pics later)

The replies to my queries were commendable!

Soon thereafter, I became a Charter Member!

There's been a change of ownership and a new format, but, I've been here since.

Sure, I've been banned.
Testing my limitations and then making Friends....

Anybody else?

I've posted in many different threads including Coins, Stamps, What Is It and probably a score of other threads.

Treasurenet is about, TREASURE!

I have found Treasure, in the Friends that I have made here! :notworthy:

Our little corner,
"Crispin's Critters," well,
That's icing on the cake!

My Best to All,

Scott

My First post on Treasurenet:

What was your first post?

And....

Just got an email from the Professor about a link I must download, study and be ready in the morning for discussion and class participation.
It appears to deal with maps, cartography, plotting, compass bearings and such....

"Oh really?"
"You know of such things, Scott?
You're just the guy I wanna talk to...."

Best,

Scott

Something tells me that this class will involve a 3-5 member "group" to work on a project, prepare visuals and be willing to be present for a multi-class presentation....:BangHead:
Seems I'm always the "leader" in such academic endeavors....
Whippin' them kids into "Gettin' with it!"

Sheesh.

Oh, Well...

Been there.
Done that.

Guess it's easier than writing a Master's Thesis....:dontknow:

Best,

Scott

Ouch. Better git with it.
Groups can be tough when they affect your grade and some members are not pursuing academic gain with any passion. So I hear.

I was diggin' in the yard today
When a letter came from Southampton Way
Said, "Keep on working, keep on working"

I must admit I was a bit in the red
But if you never have pleasure
Then you could be dead
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working

But there's one thing they can't take away
Hear the sea sing, to see a smilin' face
I think we're okay though we all could be mad
Well, that's what they say, we just can't all be bad

I got somethin' now to think about
I'll work all day but not to pay it out
Keep on working, keep on working

Don't care if they say we are a dyin' race
I'd rather be here than any other place
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working

And there's another whirl they can't ever touch
Just need a boy and girl and it don't cost you much
And if your luck is in, you might have kids at play
To make you laugh and sing when you're old and gray

Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working

I was diggin' in the yard today
When a letter came from Southampton Way
Said, "Keep on working, keep on working"

I've got to admit I was a bit in the red
But if you never have pleasure
Then you might as well be dead
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working

And there's another whirl they can't ever touch
Just need a boy and girl and it don't cost you much
And if your luck is in, you might have kids at play
They'll make you laugh and sing when you're old and gray

Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working

Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, keep on working
Keep on working, work!

And now , For Scott who should be working...A name that tune.

"Why was I born today
Life is useless like Ecclesiastes say
I never had a chance
But opportunity's now in my hands"

I've got a bass pick from Head East from the 80's!

Yeah.

Perhaps I've saved too much in my life.

Am I a hoarder?

Picks from concerts can be worth a fortune! Save them! Most of the concerts I attended I always went for the backstage pass option when I could...The guitar techs had picks. I sold them all...back stage passes/badges also...

I wish that I knew what I know now.....when I was younger...

I like this version.
