2.5 hour evening hunt on new land, turns up very little. Dad hunted by himself whilst I was doing other things.
Some time ago I decided that I would share EVERYTHING we find & keep. This was a poor day by recent standards but new fields are calling to be searched. If you don't try your never know.
Dad thought he had an interesting buckle, had to tell him its a Georgian Drawer Pull.
I spoke to a farmer last night about his 2000 acres that we were unable to start this year. He invited us over in a couple of weeks to mark the land on my maps & start planning our next year's hunt pattern. Archies have already done digs on his fields & looking at the map I have a good feeling about this one. No-one detected it (unless at night) Give me something to dream about over winter. Bring it on....
