I am having difficulty identifying what this cuff button is.
If anyone has an idea that would be great.
 

Looks like a script A on it. What does the back look like? Anything else you can tell us about will help ID it.

There is an A on it and maybe a V? It is 13 mm in diameter and there is a crown over the letters. There is nothing on the back and it is a two piece.

It a post 1838 button. I assume it has a back on it? The cipher with crown is "VR", for Victoria Rex, i.e., Queen Victoria of Great Britain. It's a nice button!

It could be a VR but that Crown is funky for a Royal one. Not a button I've seen before.

That sure looks like a queens crown.. I have seen that style on a great many buttons, and military badges

OK, I guess I haven't seen many....lol It might be the corrosion but it looks wrong to me.
