Yes, boxing the thing has already taken 2 hours today making and cutting a special box, only 3/4 done. Sheesh!

I know the build-your-own-box route very well. I remember a big wooden crank phone once and 4 Persian rugs. You need lots of big heavy duty boxes, a box cutter and a hot glue gun with many sticks of hot glue.

Nice lamp. I too am very familiar with the build-a-box scenario. I hate it, big p.i.t.a. I've passed on several lamps because of it. I passed on a beautiful large piece of Capodimonte this past weekend because I was afraid it would break just putting in the truck, lol. I don't call it "crapodimonte" for nothing. I did buy a set of four danish chairs though, to keep.
