i have discovered a pow campsite from the cw.would this kind of campsite be worth detecting??

not in Alabama , its in Pennsylvania,was used as a stop over on the way to Elmira NY POW camp

i have contacted the property owner and have permission.problem is some of it is covered by an old cemetery.have mixed feelings about hunting even by accident in a cemetery

I agree that you should not detect in the cemetary itself but anywhere else is fair game. Good luck and take lots of pictures of your finds for us. And keep the location to yourself or you might get company without permission. That could cause you to lose your permission to hunt there.

I use to have a map of some CW camp locations in PA, most if not all the sites on the map were built up now. You should defidently try the site, could be some buttons, maybe even buckles. CSA stuff is big money.
