Is there a way to tell how deep a target is with the CZ-20? I am sure I've been told before but I've forgotten. I had a real hard time pinpointing a few items today and was wondering if there was a way I could tell how deep the actually are. I am just learing this machine and need all the help I can get. Thanks for the help.

It is difficult due to the conductivity of the target. A higher conductive target can be deeper than a deeper piece of lower conductive target and both can have the same volume. I have used this detector for quite a while and I am still guessing most times. Usually I just dig and if it doesn't appear in two feet and it is the same volume as before, I give up and move on. What am I going to do with a ships anchor?
