Re: DANGER

Thanks Mike. You are correct about scams being sent to your email. Both paypal and eBay only contact you thru your actual account. They never send you info concerning your account via email. I have reported this a couple of times myself. Good job Mike in letting others know about this scam.

Re: DANGER

I received one the other day, not quite the same wording, but similar.
As 4-H stated, never, never, never log on to any account through a link in an e-mail.
Whenever I get these phishing e-mails, I close them, then log into my account through my links,
and then check my account for any abnormalitys.
Be careful

Interesting..
Thanks Mike.

I have all "paypal" emails marked as "spam" anyway....

I don't keep anything in it (The paypal acct), and anything I NEED, I get from the SITE when I am using it, the rest is just marketing BS...
Thank Brian good advise.

What's doubly worrisome is the folks that do these scams will make the presentation look truly authentic. The logos etc. look just like the real deal.
