Day 36 - Big Grass Field....... & button field

Decided from now on we would do 1-2 hours on the boring Big Grass Field & them switch to the Button field to find the odd item.

Only managed 1 hour of very quiet land (2 man hours) before moving on....

That "button field" looks like the place to be!!! But still, the man hours to button ratio looks good . Have you identified all of the buttons? They look very nice...

we found about 25 flat button (plain) which we chucked.

The left is a Georgian Livery Button, the other two Victorian.

Nice button finds Crusader !!

A not so great day detecting still beats a good day at work !

Get back out there and find us some more of those 1000 year old hammereds and Romans !!!!!!!!!!!!
