Day late Christmas present ..GOLD & Diamonds 
Went to a new school playground this afternoon..weather was gorgeous..and the fever had set in..fresh batteries in the Garett GTAx1000 and off I went.? spent a few hours going over the area thoroughly..and lo and behold..got a pulltab/nickle bling....2 inches down..spread the dirt aside and there it was..jumped right out at me....cant find a gold content mark on the inside..the ring appears to be well used and worn marks on outside..ery heavy just like gold should be..and the diamond appears to be 3/4 to 1 carat size with 3 smaller diamonds on each side.? What leads me to believe it may be genuine is the older setting flat on the bottom ..anyone have any ideas ?? Cant wait to get it checked out..even if its a CZ was well worth the day out..the weather was gorgeous..75 tomorrow they say maybe closer to 80...? ?What a day !!! WOW !!!

Got it checked today and it is REAL, total CW .80. Jeweler says after using their loop it has no flaws or inclusions and she said replacement value would be between $2,500 - $3,000. She said its one of the best cuts she had seen in a good while, even some of their stones in their store don't compare to it's quality and clarity. I think I'll keep it !!! Good start to my permanent collection.
