I bet the ground was a bit stiff the first inch or two. Great silver and old wheats. Great luck in 2013--Happy New Year!

The ground was starting to get quite hard in the schoolyard but really soft in the woods. This particular woods I've never seen it freeze yet, it gets frozen around the tree trunks but that's about it.

Congrats on the wheats and nice, cold silver Mercs. Glad you're still getting out. I think the leaves insulate the ground a lot in the woods.
