Delaware & Hudson RR lock question

Obviously trashed. Just curious if any RR people recognize the era (years) of this logo style? Solid 82 on the ATG. Had me excited for a moment. Was thinking coin all the way.

Not sure of the age but congrats on the find. I found a similar one several years ago. I think it was a New York Central Railroad one if I recall correctly.

If you don't get your answer from a TN-er, this site is loaded with the history of the railroad and sources you can contact for (possibly) info on your lock.
That lock is symbolic of the historic gap between the D & H Canal RR and the Canadian Pacific RR.

Coal shipping sounds like it from what I can gather. Possibly Miller Lock Co. Has a 29 stamped on the inside.
