i was recently using my bounty houter quick draw detector on in island about 400 yards from the anclote power plant on the gulf coast of fla. it is not a nuclear plant but coal burning. i kept on gettin starnge readings while i was there. when i finally got back to the boat ramp everything was fine again. i just want to know if the power plants will give you strange readings

Not much to do with mding but you could take a fluorescent bulb to top of wheelhouse on one of our towboats..within 10 ft of radar antenna . at every sweep bulb would light up...with you holding it in your hand !!!!!
