I have read several posts on the TDI with interest.I like the fact that you can use minelab coils on it too,only that comes with a price.The pulse delay on the machine would have to be altered.It is said minelabs coil require more voltage or gain (techies help!)
I am wondering if there is any modification that could be done to get the "made for minelab P.I. machines" coils to work normally on a TDI without fooling around with the pulse delay? Some electronic device that you could put in line with the cable and the control box whether powered on its own or not.Yeah like an a variable adaptor with nice little capacitors resistors and other electronic components inside?
While we are on this thought,I would love to get like the 24x 12 UFO coil to work on the infinium.Again a device or adaptor would have both minelab and Garrett's connectors. I mean Garrett has such a machine but I am not aware of any really big UFO type coils for it.
Is this mod possible?
