Did you know GTI 2500 can add?

I was at a local park today and my GTI rang out as a quarter. I check it again to verify, again a quarter. I started to dig but found a nickle, then another nickle and another. There were 5 nickles in one hole. i did find a penny as well. (6) coins 26 cents. Ok it can add but not that well. Is 6 coins in a hole a record?

Unfortunately I only found a dollar or so in change with the oldest coin being a 1953 wheat penny. The park is littered with trash. A beep on evry swing.

6 is pretty good, i've hit 7 tho... behind a spring break hotel i got 3 quarters, 2 dimes, and 2 pennies in one hole.. my ace beeped like i was metal detecting in a scrap yard...

My friends GTI1500 can also add as well.

The other day at the park it rang up as 50 cents....and low and behold it was 2 quarters in the hole.

The next day it rang up as 50 cents... sadly it was wrong that time... there were 3 quarters in the hole.
