Murray and I went to the only park near me that has silver. I scored my 10th silver from here and the 2nd Barber. This one also gets me to 46 fty. My total from all of last year. It sounded really good from one direction. Turned 90 degrees and no sound at all. I cut the plug and immediately saw a big old nail in it. Directly below the nail in the bottom of the hole sat only my 3rd Barber dime of the year:headbang:

Ok forgive my ignorance but what is a one way signal??
Its when you are standing a certain way over your signal. You swing your detector over it from the left to right. You will get a signal going over it towards the right, but when you come back over it towards the left, the signal is gone. We call that a one way signal. Your detector is trying to discriminate out something, yet something good may be in the same hole, like Toasteds Barber dime. Nice dig Toasted.

He means he only got a good tone swinging in one direction. It didnt repeat when he swung back from other direction..

Sweet Barber Toasted, If targets are a plenty, I probably would not have dug that signal, but if targets are scarce more than likely would have dug it. Congrats on your silver total for the season, :occasion14: you are certainly beating my total of 27.

I tend to dig these signals - bcse i have been rewarded more times than not. did you circle around the target and reswing - or keep at it with the same orientation?
