Digging through gravel

No easy way that I have ever heard of. Lots of sites that have been hit have had the gravel overlooked because of just that problem. Usually only a couple of inches of the hard stuff then you are off to the races. :icon_thumleft:

When digging in gravel , I use a garden fork 3 prong, they work great and can be pick up at any garden shop, Mernards, Lowes, Wal mart etc. The one I use is a heavy duty one about 15 inches in length with the forks being about 3 inches in length.
