Usually this is a title in the metal detector's forum but it happened in a dime box for me. I usually don't post my results because they are meager but today it was noteworthy.
Upside: 1898 Barber, 1945 Mercury, 1952-S Roosevelt, 1961-D Roosevelt
4 keepers is above average for me. First time I've gotten a Barber dime from a box. First time getting a
Mercury for this year.
Downside: The 1898 Barber has a big hole in it
Guess the upside beat the down side for me today. Unless when I weigh the rolls and find out I'm short again.
I just bought a White's metal detector a few weeks ago and I've only been able to dig a couple of clad quarters. No silver. I just don't see how everyone pulls Seated & Barbers, silvers like it's regular business. CRH still beats metal detecting for me.
