Extra boxes this week

My supply bank felt bad about not being able to fill my order of halves once last month so they surprised me with 2 boxes today. There are a lot of "casino" halves around here. Their smooth dark rims make a lot of the cleaner rims sort of jump out at you like silver on the initial rim search, especially when the keepers are really scarce and you are trying to "will" them into existance. After 96 skunk rolls, a 40% appeared. Hurray!! On roll 100, a silver rim on the next to last coin in the roll proved to be a 1952 Ben in almost AU condition. A great ending to some slow boxes.

I recommend getting a scale.. you know right away if it's a good box or not. One can usually tell if there's 90%'s in the roll if you weigh them.. unless you enjoy opening all of them waiting for a suprise.
