I was doing a job at the courthouse in town and was looking at an artifact display that was donated most things looked like hopewell or younger but there was this. It may just be a knife but it’s almost like a knife scraper hybrid. I was just curious if anyone knew what it was. The courthouse is in se Kansas as for the artifacts I can only assume local... also the thing above it was weird maybe a type of graver?

As for the glare I couldn’t get an angle to avoid it

I’d say it’s about 4” does that still count as a bladelet?

Good to know, I always thought of bladelets as basically small quick and dirty cutting tools

I need to read a little closer, so just a blade. For this area it be unusual to use a blade core. Anything of significant size that I’ve seen in various collections around the here are bifaces.
