Alamosmoon,

Thank You, I always try to keep The Master for my #1 pilot, as
far as His Spirit guiding me, and His truth a light for my way, and
I am just along for the treasured ride... I am a bit lonely though,
an' that's just the way it goes sometimes, I know pretty well...

Had a great time, accidently found the Pinson Mounds, probly some
of my 'ol distant kin, perhaps predating the Chickasaw/Choctaw nations
of their ancestors, I reckon, down under the earthen mounds and the good
people in the South have been great, but I'm runnin' short of time. I am truly
runnin' into the Son, but I'm kinda' runnin' behind...

Reckon I'll head further west, to my neck of the woods, and get some work done.
Get ready for my next adventure, and hopefully, next time, I won't be alone. As
this time was great, still I am very much a people person, and always like to
share adventures, that is, when there's someone to enjoy the same similar
experiences. Not just me cool wandering around, like a curious gypsy kind
of experienced traveler, out on the lost but open highway. Or like a child,
blindly runnin' away from home, just for the thrill of seeing an old friend,
who isn't of the the same mind anymore, or then for the unknown, the
exciting ride, or wild adventure...

Thanks for taking the time to give your keen input, treasured kindred spirit sis'...

You take care, and be safe too. I am still very much in the dark, on what
is in the plans for my stories, and am quietly looking for a little itty bitty clue...

Hey Marius,

Thanks! Great view, I like the scenery brother.
Quite panoramic, and wow! Nice of you to share,
and much appreciated. Must be a lot of potential
historical places to treasure hunt in your country?

Awesome...... :sunny: :fish:

All the country is an ancient historical place , and for this the words " treasure hunter " are forbidden here . For every picks/shovel in the ground , anybody needs an approval from the Archeology office . Fortunately someone could find ( illegal ) with good info , a buried pot/chest of gold coins hidden from the civil war ( 1948-'50 ) .

They've got some neat artifacts, and some are from
one of the mounds, excavated before National Laws
were legislated. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Thanks to Tim, Amanda, Mona, and Arny, for your good
courtesy, guiding, and information. A special Thank You, out
to Mona (Cinderella, still looking for her lost slipper) for helping
me recharge my run down camera battery, and to Amanda, for a
nice personal tour, and specific explanations... And to Arnie, telling
me about the Chickasaw State Park...

Thanks a lot, you guys really rock!...:goldtrophy: :sunny: :fish:

Thanks for your interesting reply Marius,

I kind of figured, it might be something like that.
Tho' I was thinking of the old days, of spirited Greek Soldiers,
Warriors of the historic battles, Treasures of the ancient days too...
Take Care my brother... :sunny: :fish:

mdog,

... ~: Thought this might be of interest to you, pics of some mounds,
in Chickasaw Country, between Jackson, and Henderson, TENN.,
thought to have been done in the Middle Woodland Period :~ ...

Thank you very much for all the pictures of the Pinson Mounds. Very considerate of you and some real interesting things.

I like to look for Mound Builder sites that have latitudes that are close to the latitudes of other important sites as well as Phoenician trading centers in the ancient Old World.

Pinson Mounds have a latitude very close to the Old Stone Fort further east in Tenn. Also, very close to the old Phoenician port of Ramitha in Syria, modern day Latakia. The Old Stone Fort was dated to the Middle Woodland Period, same as Pinson, and Ramitha became an important port at about the beginning of the Middle Woodland Period.

Thanks again.

Well, I didn't get too far, and am still in Tennessee.
I went to look at a neat place, and met some people.
They were leaving, but right before they did, I got my
guitar out, and then someone was making phone calls.

Another guitar player showed up, and we picked and sang,
till after 1:00 or so. I was heading back home, but now I'm
staying in this other guitar players' home, tho he already went
to lay down, and I need to, in his spare bedroom. Four of us guys,
me the little bit youngest guy, as it turned out, and the two not
playin', seemed to enjoy our playing and singing, a lot...

They said I need to move closer, and want me to come
on back next month, for one of their birthday party...
I am tired, and had better get a few winks, later... :sunny: :fish:

I am still at my new musician friends place, and we've been talking about music.
He played me a cool demo that his daughter made, and wow is she great! She's got
a lot of talent, tons of soul, voice control, a killer vocalist. I told him, I would love
to sing and record with her, such an excellent singer... I am going to have to head
home, with such great experiences to remember, these Southern Folks, have really
been showing their awesome Tennessee Southern Hospitality...

We really sang good songs an' were pickin' grinnin',and having fun.
The wind was still, moon nice an' bright, whipporwills singin', fireflies flashin' all 'round ...

It doesn't get any better than this, on a Tennessee Spring Friday Night... :sunny: :fish:

By ALL rights in the natural world, I should have
gotten hurt bad, or maybe even died last night.
Several times, over and over, fallin' asleep at the
wheel...

That's another big one, I owe my guardian Angels...

I like this song, simply because it has some good
harmonies, and I heard it on the radio early this
mornin', while I was runnin' down the road... :sunny: :fish:

They were definitely with me last night... A Big Thank You,
out to my Guardian Angels... I Could/Should have been gone
to the Spirit World long ago, if it were not for them waking me...

Crosse'! Oh my gosh. I am so unbelievably grateful that you're okay. As a survivor of that horrible wreck last year, reading this made me thank my AND your lucky stars, that we are still here. We both are made of tough stuff, but things like this remind us that we are not bullet proof. God was definitely your co-pilot last night. Phew. I would be so sad without my brother.
