Do you suppose there is still a reward for this?

Great find, cool that you find something that just turned a century old.

If your fingers are covering up a hole in the planchette it is probably a dog collar tag. If so your going to need that dog to collect that reward, laughing!
Nice find!

That's a sweet find. The date really makes the item IMO. Congrats!

Nice find! These personalized keychain identification tags were sold by jewelers, etc. who could use individual letter stamps to put whatever the customer wanted on them. Often fraternal organizations like the Elks used them as fundraisers - the lodge would buy a bunch of blanks with their group's logo on them, and stamp them for members who would pay a buck or so. I'm working on a "set" of these - one from each state - and find them stamped for all over.

The guy who bought this one, and presumably carried it with him, Stames Stamou, was born in Greece in about 1888, was still living in Syracuse in 1940.
