Does Etrac weigh 3.5lbs or 4.8lbs?

Several websites have conflicting information. Some say 3.53lbs and many say 4.8lbs. The SE pro only weighs 4lbs and the Etrac is advertised as lighter - so how could it be 4.8lbs?

3.5lbs with 11" coil. Just got off the scale (accurate to 0.1 lbs).

Thanks for reminding me that I need to charge it up before weekend

Thanks for checking! Thats what I thought/and hoped. Minelab should see that those sites correct that info. b/c it could turn some buyers off.

It'll be 5lbs. when you add the Sunray probe though

The Erac is better balanced, with the handle at a different angle, and coil centrally mounted.
It does feel lighter. If you want to make it lighter put on a Coiltek joey coil. seeya Neilo
