Last Year I went to Nome, Alaska to verify some facts about gold dredging at the bottom of the Bering Sea. What I found in Nome change my interest from amateur/hobby to more serious. This trip have also resulted in creation of my own design of sizable gold suction dredge. Unfortunately I quickly realized that my ambitious plans and designs were over my budget, so I scaled down dramatically. I am still planning to build my own suction dredge within next three months, but much smaller and affordable. I hope to start my first gold mining season this summer 2016, dredging the bottom of the Bering Sea, on 540 acres of the public claims near Nome.
