today I met up with a buddy from Buckeye treasure forum and we started on the 1925 house it was extremely trashy, we both got a wheat right away then nothing.

From there we went to an old school, I had some kind of interference and no matter what channel I had on noise cancel it would not settle down until sensitivity was set so low It was worthless to even hunt there.

Took a break for lunch then we headed to another school I got a good signal and dug down just under the grass and found a whole roll of dimes! the paper was rotted away, but all the dimes were in a neat row, sorry about the cruddy pic, I had to use my cell phone camera.

I think I only dug about 5 pennies today that school had dimes quarters everywhere. Ended up finding $8.95 in clad, that must be a record for me...lol

from there we hit an old park and I found 1 wheat and a 1926 merc dime.

Great find, finding a roll of coins is better than digging them up one at a time! :laughing9:

Congrats on the mega-dime find. Was it a good 'dime' reading you found or just a strong reading with them being altogether?? :icon_scratch:
it was a solid 38 or dime reading in all directions with the x-70

Nice finds, I see your still out there hittin the dirt. Have you been back to the fairgrounds lately?

I have been laid up for awhile. I just got out of the hospital about two weeks ago. They found
blood clots in my lungs and I am now on coumadin for the next 6 months. Boy you talk about being weak, I am. I have been trying to walk some, but my right side really hurts. Guess it's going to take awhile to heal.

Glad to see you are still finding some good targets.

Denny, I went to the fairgrounds once, but they just don't keep it mowed short enough until right before the fair
