Been at this hobby only a couple of months but I've dug a pile of clad, some wheaties a SUPER nice Indian Head. Well today I got my first silver coin. A really nice 1944 Merc.
Went to a local park I've never hunted and started off with my MXT Pro. Typical clad and pull tab stuff. After couple of hours I headed back to the truck for a short break. Then grabbed my Coinmaster Pro w/4x6dd to "cherry pick" the tot lot and picnic tables. First swing with the CMP resulted in a state clad quarter. Kinda chuckled! Tot lot was a bust but on my 2nd park bench I got my first silver @ 2-3".
I thought it was pretty cool.
