Hit a new Union Campsite 2 weekends ago, found the top of a General Service Officer's button and an Enfield bullet. I only found the top of the button, no back. After some time getting the button round again, and somewhat cleaning it, I think I have identified it as a Steele & Johnson ca 1860 button. It has a very distinct shield shape and 30 stars going around it. 3 piece construction button. I included before and after photos.

Look at that bullet a little closer. Are you sure there are not three rings around it. Kinda looks that way on my monitor.
