Hello all-

Haven't posted in a while but I felt I needed to share this...10 years after my niece found an ear plug (see original post here: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/n...cts/23308-ear-plug-anyone-ever-found-one.html) I was lucky enough to find one of my own today. Here are the pics. Note the tally marks. Cannot believe it! My niece (now 20) says she doesn't feel so special anymore. (Hers is on the left in the picture.)

Thanks for looking.

BJH

Super fine finds and they don't get much better than those two. As it was stated there is no telling what is under your site and I would keep close tabs on that area. They used all types of things to put in the hole to keep them from falling out of the ear lobe, like just a small bone pin, feathers, sinew with something hanging off of it. Super super find congrats on the find and the banner vote.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Thanks again everyone for the compliments!

sandchip....Mine is about 2" and my nieces's is about 2.5". The circular part on both of them is about 1" in diameter.

Me neither. What a cool thing to find, and two of them?

Are these as rare as a birdstone? Seems someone posted that they may be more common in certain areas.

If I were you I'd punch a hole in my ears and try them out ! :)
