Was on the Cape the other day - ran into 1kbluetube and we hit sunrise low tide spot
I headed out as deep as I could get before tide was gonna turn - he hit in close then moved out
( got 2 silver dimes ) - I got a thin quarter about 30 yrds from shore then another thin coin about 50 yrds out.
Was out like 80 yrds in about chin deep water...
Got a nice signal and thought I might have a small sinker - sounded like it was down a bit - buried scoop head straight down
and scooped and saw glint of gold as sun was just over the horizon. Nice early score! Was able to get a bunch of other thin coins
which is a good sign - got this one coin in my scoop - it was bigger than a quarter - ended up being a worn Kennedy half.
Was out as far as I got and was surprised with the police badge (see other post)
Tide turned and drove me back in - ended up getting a silver earing and a silver amethyst ring - last target was over a foot down
in like knee deep water - turned out to be huge stainless ring bout a size 16 - the shallows were clean - think locals been hammering
it - wonder if the discriminated that ring.

I probably got more thin ones than regular ones over the last 5 yrs
I don't usually go for the fresh drops - or I hit spots that have both
the locals near most of the beaches I hit clean up all the new stuff quick
I have to go out farther or go real slow and try for the older stuff
and a lot of those thin ones don't go off that great

I love monogrammed signet rings!

Nice!

Ya you have to get creative now days to carve out your own space when there are alot of others swing coils.
