Electric mystery toy, hummingbird, and asst'd

I hit the farm briefly today in hopes of finding a few things before Ridley gets a swing at the place again. ;D I think he picked the yard clean of all silver, because he only left my a 1941 Wheat, and a load of shotgun shell heads. Dirty dog!!!
I hit a few different areas, and came up with:
*A pewter hummingbird,
*A lead shot (Charlie, what was this fired from?)
*Some sort of heavy metal electric tractor/train? Anyone know what this beast is?
*What looks like a copper "O",
*A silver piece of metal with some funky designs in it. No idea what it is?
*A play knife & play money,
*1/3rd of a toy soldier (again, no head!)
It was slim pickings for me today.
I'll try harder next time. ;D
Thanks everyone,
MM

That dirty dog Ridley! Leaving you with nothing but shotgun shells and relics! :D

Gotta be some more good stuff if you are still pulling all that stuff out of the ground. Still neat finds.

Tomorrow you will find heads. ;)

Thanks. I have an 1804 plantation house on 2 acres ready to be searched next. I think I'll leave Ridley's butt at home this time. ;D Nah, just kidding. He's my buddy.
I would love to get a coin into the 1800's. Yeah, Baby!

Nice finds! Your copper "O" shaped thing is a CW era tent grommet. :)

Wow, what a great day you had, I think I saw in one of the Treasure magizines where you can make rings out of those pesky shotgun shells.

I disagree... It's close, but it's the base of a twist latch deal...grommets are much different... Um, I'll take some pics... and post here in a minute...

Ok... I have the "male" part of your "female" latch part... era Grommets also shown.

Thanks everyone,

I'm pretty sure that is the electric engine from an early Lionel or American Flyer locomotive (?-4-? configuration). That piece laying under it in one of the pictures is the center rail pickup (the tracks have three rails). The remains of the wheel are typical for Lionel train engines.

*A lead shot (Charlie, what was this fired from?)

.32 S&W revolver. Facing west in the afternoon on a Wednesday. ;D

Great haul. Just guessing of course as the slug appears to be all lead & less than half as wide as a penny. Could be a .32-20 or a .32 S&W or something in that neighborhood. If it's a brass jacketed bullet (can't quite tell from the image) it might be a .32 ACP from a semi-auto. Would have to weigh it and mic. it.

Charlie,
YOU are good! You were just off by a notch. It was actually facing south west, but it was on a Wednesday. Great ID. ;D
Thanks,
MM
