Like most of the popular LDM legends, a mix of both fact and fiction. The Peralta stones may not be related to Waltz in any way. He certainly never seemed to make any reference to any map stones or tablets while alive. In reading any of these it is interesting that over 200 people have all claimed to have found the famous Lost Dutchman gold mine, and in over 200 different places. Few show any gold at all, from what was said to be a very rich gold mine and according to Waltz still had plenty of gold left in it. Even those that have found some gold, don't get it compared with any of the specimens from Waltz, which might help discern in a scientific manner if they have gold from the same vein or not. That they will not get this comparison done tells us something.

Thanks for sharing it, that is the first photo of a foundation labeled as the "Peralta cabin" that I have ever seen. I wonder how they managed to ID it as belonging to Peralta?
