Got a call for a pre estate sale. Going back for some more tomorrow. There was a lot more silver then I thought there would be. Ton of antiques too. First haul though. Some of it I’m not sure what it even is!

Then a fake mont blanc.

That's a great haul. I see all kinds of goodies in there. Are the opium pipes marked? You'd never see that much silver on this side of the coast. The "family" took all that kind of stuff is the most common response. In reality though...

I know what you're getting at but it sounds like Beachkid may have been the "family" on this one. He did say it was a pre estate sale. I get the same invitation from a couple of the estate sale companies here. I pay a fair price that's equal to or better than what they can sell it for at a regular sale and they don't have to worry about people pocketing high value small items.

Pipes are marked. Like they remade different pieces. They are made by reo?

Incredible haul. Not a piece of scrap in the punch. Opium pipe...don’t think so...whistles. The top item is an in blotter from a desk set.

Today was a couple more pieces of silver with Crystal bases on them. They don’t seem like they’re worth a whole lot so I just Kinda bought them for scrap they’re all dented and stuff. Sterling silver set of coasters with glass vases. Again not worth a whole lot and then 14 karat gold pillbox that I somehow missed yesterday I guess because I didn’t know they even made such a thing

The gold trinket box surprised me. It was mixed in with all of these which I don’t think I have much value. no point of leaving them there when the people don’t want them anyways.
