Got the blue phones. The phone with the wire feed cuts in , out or produces irritating static on what appears to be good signals. Don't want to tie the machine up at minelab at this time. Has anyone ever had this problem? Can the headphone be taken apart to find the wiring problem? If so how without breaking it? Anyway just thought I'd throw it out there. Many Thx in Advance!!!!

If you have a lot of experience with electronics you can try it, but the trouble might not be in the headphones where you can repair it yourself. Any messing around on your part will void the warranty and Minelab can then charge you $$$. It could just be a loose connection in the phone or a bad wire cable. Suggest you bite the bullet and send it in. Always helps to own a couple back up's.
