I checked out a new tot lot. Most of the coins were fresh drops barely covered in the wood chips. No silver or gold this time. There was a nice sports field but that wasn't my goal this trip. I will search it at some point.
Just found the usual clad, trash, and an odd item, it's shaped like a bullet tip but is probably the tip off a pen or something, hopefully. The little butterfly is junk.
I had a second much larger tot lot to check too, but when I got there the whole area was full of people. An event of some kind was going on so I will hit that one next but very early, before the crowds arrive. Here's the diggings of my day.

GL & HH to everyone!

That's allot of digging girl, good work. Could be a socket maybe? What's the bottom look like?

Thank you! Here's more pics of it ARRC thinks it may be off an inflator gauge
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
The inside is smooth, no threads, so it looks like it may have been attached at the flanged out base. It has seams on both sides. Wonder if it was a cheap charm thing?

Congrats on a nice day of digging. You certainly found a lot of targets. I like that little wire butterfly. Kind of cute. Caley

Thank you! I was hoping it was silver but it's not, the search goes on!

Crimped on. You know it could also be a small bowl for a pot pipe.

That's a quite a bit of coinage, a rich hunting ground, you've found. A good day of digging.
You keep digging and a nice gold is going to show up in one of your holes one of these days. For the record it has been a long time since I've seen a gold in my hole, they are not easy on dry ground. It's the water hunters, swimming hole hunters that get the most gold for sure. I haven't water hunted for two years, I guess mainly because the only good spot around here fro miles gets hit pretty hard by many others so I tend to try for other types of hunting.

Good luck out there.

Lol! the strange stuff we find!
I once had a guy hand me "silver" possible crack pipe on the beach, I handed it back and told him he found it he should keep it. Gave me a creepy feeling, I just turned and walked away detecting. What ever was going on I wanted no part of.
