Soon, there will be one billion members. That's three times as many Facebook users are there are people in the United States.

With all this activity, there is bound to be something for the metal detecting community there.

Lots of people had rotted brains before they found Facebook. My brain's still good.

I'm 64, and through Facebook I've renewed acquaintances with people I went to grade school with, whom I have had no contact with for over half a century.

When you get older, that's pretty good stuff.
