Hello, wanted to share a nice find from a local pawnshop.
I hit them often mainly to check on going rates for my wheelin' and dealin' hobby.
found 6 rolls of pre-'64 washingtons priced at $800.00, did some quick math on silver prices,
offered $700.00- Deal! Would love to have saved IMAG0572.jpg them, but had bills to pay, sold them a day later on Craigs for $1400.00
Not bad for a quick stop at a pawn shop.

Pawn shops around here are like crackheads in reverse, they buy it for 10% of the actual melt value and sell it for 200%+ of the actual melt value.

Yup, that's how they are here, too. I've seen used detectors priced above retail.

How in the hell did you ever get a pawn shop to sell you silver at HALF of melt. Nobody does that. I've never seen a pawn shop that would sell less than double melt.
