Went back to one of my favorite spots for a couple hours this evening. Nothing to brag about, but caught a few flat buttons, only one still had its shank intact. Also got a pocket knife . Gonna have to let it dry and get some of the crud off. I am hoping it is all intact. HH out there..

thanks.Yeah its a pretty old place. As far as I know it goes back to somewhere around the 1780's. Mostly dig mid to late 19th century stuff, sometimes early 19th. Every one in awhile i'll catch some late 18th cen. relics.
