went to a field today that still has not been planted, all the rain here is keeping the farmers out of the fields. Found a couple wheats 1958, and 1928. I almost hate finding wheats in a field, I am hoping they will be all indians. But not today......

I did get this button type item, not real sure what it is, has an eagle on it. Any clues anyone?

almost forgot the first dig on the day was this kids ring, not gold........but old...lol

ended up only finding one indian and it was decent shape for a field coin dated 1885

Man those Eagle Buttons are popular. Not quite sure of the dates of those. Navy Button 1860-1910 era.. I wish I could tell ya more about it. What does the back look like? Nice digs all the way around. Congrats....jgas

Nice finds!
Hope that field stays dry for you for a few days. This rain's getting old. How do you like that X-terra?

Goes 4 ever, Nice day out- I'm thrilled if I even find a wheatie these days. The larger brass thingy is a doorbell cover,

circa 1880's -1900 - I think - We lived in a late Victorian house in Helena , Montana when I was a youngster , and we

had a doorbell almost exactly like that one . Argentium.

Great Finds Terry, I really liked the video you made also. Not sure what the button is, but I like it.

Your little button type whatsit could be a suspender clip. Nice hunt and cool finds, I need to get out and do some of these fields around here that got flooded after planting this spring. I just have a hard time swinging my detector when the mud is knee deep (not exaggerating either).
