A friend said a old field nearby got mowed recently by a tractor. I knew the owner and I cant remember in my lifetime it being mowed so off i went. Its behind a really old house so i was expecting some old finds but mostly only got back to the 1940’s/1950’s besides some 1800’s flat buttons, spoon and suspender clip. I still have some hope there is some old coins there yet and that I’m just cleaning up on the newer stuff by exploring it fast. The four silvers (1959 & 1961 quarters & two 1950 dimes) made my day even though i hoped to get back a little older than that. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

The good stuff will come up if you clean the place, my guess. You have a sweet spot. WTG!

Any field getting mowed or plowed feels like it's your birthday, if you got permission! LOL
