Hello All, What a wonderfull post this is. Here is a question for you all, I live outside of Flint, one of the oldest, most continually inhabited parts of the lower Saginaw valley region in Michigan. It would seem with a city and river named after the material used to make points-- there would be a lot of arrowheads in the area. The city symbol is infact an arrowhead. Ive spent some serious time hunting streams and creeks in the region, but still no finds. I have read many posts and have researched about tribes in the area. While the city has sprawled, there is still an extensive recreational area with the river running through it. Furthermore, I have found very little on the web about any promising areas or finds in the area. Do I need to take a road trip or change my approach? Any suggestions? --Frustrated in Flint. J.
