Finds from House, 1880's Find, Date Tabs, . Need Help for Medal?

Ok I got permission to explore my first house. I found about 9 wheats a silver 1963 dime, and some bullets and a few other things. I wanted more. Anybody know the caliber of this bullet. I found four. Then another place I discovered about 10 1952 dat tabs for license plates. Here in Idaho they only made them in 1949 and 1952, Cool finds.
Now at the settlers canal which dates back to the 1800's I found this Pendent? War Medal? What the hell is it? I have spent a couple of days getting the crud off, on the Back it reads a date 1880? 1860? and more writing towards the bottom. My best guess is some sort of Pendent, or service medal? Its cool. Pleas help! also found a button that dates 1861 anyway see photos. Any suggestions for better crap removel. Electrollisis?

You are hooked. You will always want more. Get used to it. Cool hose nozle. I have 8 or 10 of them, but then I do a lot of yard hunting.

Nice finds. The badge looks kinda like some sort of watch fob to me with the loop at the top. The bullet looks like it could be a .50 cal round.

looks similar to an American Legion convention medal, but the top part would have formed three chain links which leads to believe that it is an Odd Fellows lodge medal.
