Finds from the field across the street.

Hunted the hay field across the street from my house. I hunted it some last year but only focused on the edges, with no luck.
This time I hit around an old well in the front.
It is a pretty crude looking well so I figured it could be old.
I can post some pics of it later if you guys want.
It was less then an hour hunt but I found this old key

Anyone have an idea of age or use?
and finished up with a penny pocket spill from the 1980s,
that had 2 wheats in it 8)

My yard is still giving up a wheat here and there as well.

What Mona Lisa said. Looks like an adz to me too.
One use is to cut center out of tree to make canoe.

Thanks guys... I think I will try electrolysis on the adze.
I will post some pics if it comes out OK.

nice finds but I too LOVE that key.. I been collecting skeleton keys I have one thats solid brass.. gonna make a nice display and hang em in it... thanks for sharing.
