Today I found 8 Silver Roosies putting me exactly at the magic number of 50 for a roll. I also found a 40% Half in the one and only Half Dollar roll I was able to lay my hands on today.
I also found something pretty weird. The teller at Wells Fargo said as soon as he saw it "I know Matt Leblanc is going to want this." It's a Bicentennial Half struck at the Philadelphia Mint, with a light gold coloring, unusual shinyness, and no brown Copper edge showing. Is it a worn down plated coin? A painted coin? For 50 cents I'm more than willing to find out.
And I also had an Apush moment today. Similar to her recent darkened Merc find, I also checked a "dirty" Dime and was greeted with "1964." I now feel vindicated for all those times I checked and it was 197- or 198-. It should pretty easily be spotted in today's stack of 8.
